Mirixa Corporation and the APhA Foundation Finalize Partnership

Reston, VA (February 4, 2009) Mirixa Corporation and the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) Foundation, the creator of the Diabetes Ten City Challenge and a partner in the Asheville Project®, have finalized their partnership to deliver all of APhA Foundation’s HealthMapRx commercial programs via Mirixa. MirixaPro℠ is now the platform of choice for all existing and future APhA Foundation commercial programs delivered through pharmacy. Announced on October 9th 2008, this partnership joins the quality and reach of Mirixa-enabled patient care programs and services with the APhA Foundation’s highly respected and nationally renowned employer-based disease management and wellness research efforts. Additionally, this enhanced alliance between the National Community Pharmacist Association (NCPA), which sponsors Mirixa, and the APhA Foundation represents a significant opportunity for the pharmacy community by providing enhanced opportunities to deliver patient care services.

Mirixa and HealthMapRx clinical teams are currently implementing the integration of programs and processes in order to provide the seamless and eventual transition of HealthMapRx programs onto the Mirixa platform. In the months to come, the team will be working closely with each employer to inform them of additional program opportunities that Mirixa can provide their employees. No interruption of current employee programs is anticipated as this transition occurs.
