News Alert: The 21st Century Intelligent Pharmacy Project—The Importance of Medication Adherence

Mirixa was invited by the Center for Health Transformation to contribute to the first in a series of white papers focusing on pharmacy.  The 21st Century Intelligent Pharmacy Project released a white paper that highlighted several innovative, emerging best practices in the area of patient adherence (compliance). The solutions contained in the white paper include the use of pharmacists as adherence counselors, innovative packaging to increase patient adherence, and disease-state management as an engagement tool to involve the patient in his/her care.
