News Alert: Medco Health Solutions and Mirixa partner on innovative study

Medco Health Solutions will utilize the MirixaPro℠ platform as part of a 26-week study designed to identify ways to close medication-related gaps in care for Illinois state employees with chronic and complex conditions. The study, conducted in conjunction with the State of Illinois, the Illinois Pharmacists Association and the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy, enlists specially trained community pharmacists to counsel patients and coordinate their care more closely with patients' physicians, with the intent to result in better patient outcomes and reduced health care costs.
