Patients achieve greater success managing their chronic conditions when they adhere to their prescribed medication regimen. Our Adherence program is designed to help them stay on track. The clinical-rules based logic in MirixaPro identifies adherence gaps based on Proportion of Days Covered (PDC), persistency or other rules as defined by the sponsor. Once the gap is identified, the pharmacist can then work with the patient and the prescriber to figure out causes for non-adherence and develop individualized strategies to resolve the issues.
Patient education materials can be made available on MirixaPro and follow-up sessions are encouraged to support behavior change and long- term health.

There are a number of reasons why patients don’t take their medications as directed or are missing a medication indicated by their condition. MirixaPro alerts pharmacists to the problem. Our Academic Partnership Program is dedicated to forming relationships between Mirixa, future pharmacy practitioners, and the nation’s colleges of pharmacy. We offer complimentary access to our online training environment so pharmacy school faculty members can create MTM and other types of cases for students to get hands-on practice with service delivery and documentation.
